Cancellation
Requests for registration cancellation must be made in writing to: m.harvey[at]sheffield.ac.uk. All requests for refunds will be processed after the CHIIR 2024 conference. 50% will be refunded for any requests received more than 14 days before the start of the conference (i.e., before Sunday the 25th of February, 2024). For cancellations made on or after Sunday the 25th of February, 2024, no refund will be provided. There will be no refunds for authors of accepted papers (when no other co-author is registered).
Author registration policy
Each accepted proceedings paper must have at least one author registered by the early-bird deadline for the corresponding contribution to be included in the proceedings. The registration has to be for physical attendance.
The same holds for contributions accepted for workshops. Each accepted workshop paper must have at least one author registered.
In practice, this means that authors pay a single registration fee, regardless of the number of contributions accepted (e.g., if an author submits and gets accepted a long and a short paper, a single registration would fulfill the policy mentioned above).
